Polyvinylidene fluoride is commonly known as PVDF, are probably the most chemically resistant thermoplastic known in the world today, which can stand up to -30°С~ +150°С, also has a fairly good dimensional stability and good tribological characteristics as well. PVDF material exhibits flame-retardant, self-extinguishing properties with its high density and excellence strength. It exhibits a minimum impact strength when at a low termperature

Despite a higher coefficient of friction, PVDF sheet and PVDF rod are more durable compared with PTFE sheet and PTFE rod. The main difference from other fluoropolymers is that it combines the PVDF sheet have good mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties when exposed to chemicals.
