Description of Virgin PPS rod

PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) is a high-performance thermoplastic with an unusual set of properties. The exturded PPS rod offers exceptional strength, dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and electrical insulation at high operating temperatures. This makes PPS rod ideal for automotive parts handling high-temperature fluids, computer hard drive components, heating and cooling elements in consumer electronics as well as medical equipment components. PPS sheet and PPS rod plastic is identified by its opaque white to tan color as well as the metallic sound it makes when struck.
